What can I say? It works wonderfully. I used it for an extended period of time while driving and it worked exactly as I was hoping it would. It does run a little loud, but that wasn't a huge deal, as the sound of driving and my music covered up the majority of it. Well worth the investment and will hopefully last me a long time. -- Surprisingly Excellent

We purchased the Whistler PI-400W from Amazon and received it just in time for our vacation/road trip from CT to Florida (Round trip of over 48 hours on the road). The unit comes with a lighter adapter and also 3 ft cables to run to the battery. We opted to connect directly to the battery of our our 1999 Honda Civic in order to get the full power of the unit (lighter adapter has a max output of 180 watts - different for each vehicle). We were able to connect our laptop and charge our Digital Camera & Camcorder off this unit. The unit never ran hot or drained our vehicle's battery. Granted, we only used this unit while the car was running. But, at one point we had the laptop running for over 3 hours and had no problems at all. I highly recommend this for anyone needing regular home power on the road! -- Must-Have for long trips

I really like this product. I use it in my vehicle when Im on the road all day 5 days a week so i can plug in my laptop and it stays cool and works great. -- Great Product

Just took a long trip and this is nice. You can definetely hear the fan, but it is solid and did a great job powering laptop and charging cell phone -- does what it says

ordered this unit, all is good with the item but amazon said I had super savers shipping as in it was free and it was not. I had $7.00 charged for shipping.

Sorry done with amazon.com, deals are everywhere online and this is the 3rd time they have messed up on me. Three Strikes Your Out !!!
